ACCOMMODATION

The experience of an internship abroad would not be complete without a supportive host family. Not only do our host families provide a home-away-from-home experience, but they also offer a familiar environment to come home to and support as you adapt to the Irish culture.

The majority of our host families have worked with us for many years. We foster close relationships with the goal of creating a caring, warm environment for trainees and facilitating ease of communication. Our students and trainees consistently report their homestay as one of the most important and memorable parts of their experience.

A host family provides trainees with:

• A bedroom and access to a bathroom and shower

• Full board (three meals a day)

• A key to use during their stay

• Support and advice during their placement
